Andrej Pejic Interview:
Andrej: I was in the midst of many difficulties and i can’t say i was always happy, becouse our society is clear: there is a distinction between a man & a woman, & to be in the middle is not easy.
Interviewer: (the same story of his childhood)
Andrej:I was born during a period really complicated: the war of ex-Yugoslavia, but i was an happy & free child, also if i hadn’t lot of material things, becouse i grew up in a refugee camp, but i was really lucky, i have to say thanks to my mom, & i never suffered for this.
Interviewer: than he was discovered from a talent scout, at the age of 17 years old, during his work like a waiter
Andrej: I had long hair & this “look”: a femine aspect, also before to begin to work in fashion & lot of people was thinking that i was a girl!
Interviewer: so, his life changed, he was celebrated also from the very serious “Washington Post”, & in Paris, from Jean Paul Gaultierr for who he walked also in a bride dress, he was chose also to walk on man’s catwalk!
Andrej: Depends from the stylist, personally i…..
